About our speakers

Zander Whitehurst, is the Founder & CEO of Memorisely, a bootstrapped SaaS startup democratising design education with live bootcamps and on-demand classes. As an educator he’s grown a community of 1 million+ designers. Zander advocates for accessible design education, remote work and is a an ‘enthusiastic’ surfer.

Liz Leigh, is a Content Design Lead at Service NSW. She works in the digital product space, supporting a community of 25 Content Designers. Throughout her career, she has contributed to the rollout of design systems, championed and advocated for content design within teams and grown content design capabilities in large organisations, including UNSW, the ATO, and Service NSW. While at Service NSW, she has helped the content design team to grow and mature. Currently, she's passionate about building leaders in content design, getting us a seat at the table and showcasing the amazing value of the practice.

About Friends of Figma, Sydney

Friends of Figma, Sydney, or FoF Sydney is one of the official user groups of Figma.

The group is run by Figma Community Advocates based in Sydney, as a way to bring folks together for meetups and sharing sessions to discuss topics related to Figma and the field of product design. We believe in open design and providing resources and access to everyone to facilitate learning and contribute to the local, regional as well as global design community.
