Lisi Schappi is Senior Director of Design at Deputy, the people platform for hourly work that serves 330,000 workplaces and 1.5 million shift workers globally. During her 12 years at Deputy, Lisi has established an influential design team that helps drive company strategy and business growth. Scaling and leading product design, brand design and strategic research globally, she advocates for inclusive and intuitive brand experiences across Deputy’s entire customer journey. Her true passion is leading people, empowering them to grow as design leaders, and building a strong culture where people feel they are making a meaningful impact to the world.

Charbel Zeaiter stands at the forefront of innovation as the visionary founder and driving force behind transformative endeavors in education, customer experience, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and future-oriented technologies. With a colourful career spanning nearly three decades, his expertise in customer experience design, technology, and education has made significant impacts across various industries and continents. Charbel's journey is marked by launching startups and amplifying digital experiences for leading companies, demonstrating his role as a dynamic and tenacious entrepreneur.

Deeply committed to the advancement of emerging technologies such as AI, XR, and Web3, Charbel dedicates himself to equipping individuals with the skills needed to thrive in these domains. His ambition is fueled by a profound commitment to fostering a sustainable future that benefits all life forms through education, community, and environmental stewardship.

Charbel's rich background in design, technology, education, and Web3 seamlessly converges, positioning him to pioneer a brighter and more connected world. His most notable achievement includes the founding of Academy Xi in 2014 through his digital agency, Velvet Onion, marking a significant milestone in his quest to enhance the human experience and improve global conditions. Despite facing challenges from the COVID pandemic and the volatility of the Web3 landscape, Charbel remains unwavering in his mission to weave together diverse initiatives aimed at crafting a more harmonious world.

Currently, Charbel has relaunched Velvet Onion & Friends and is channeling his passion and expertise into an innovative educational venture, Faster Zebra. This new project embodies his lifelong dedication to leading society towards a more prosperous, equitable, and environmentally conscious future. By integrating his vast experiences, Charbel aims to create an educational model that not only serves the global community but also paves the way for a triumvirate of People, Planet, and Prosperity.
