When I shipped my first PR to update a simple button prop, I couldn’t contain my excitement (🥳 me every time I ship even just one line of code!). I’ve been trying to move beyond HTML/CSS and into more JavaScript, and LLMs finally gave me the nudge to really design my way into code. From vibe-coding side quests, to shipping small bug fixes, to a week without Figma spent pairing with engineers, it’s been exciting to experience how design craft is evolving and growing into a more technical designer.

This talk is about how we built a GenAI concierge agent and took it beyond smoke and mirrors to live in production for companies all over the world. I’ll share what worked, what didn’t (especially when the AI got weird), and how customer-centricity made each phase of the product development cycle more effective, from design to build to iterate.
