Theo is currently heading up the design system team in HSBC. Over his past 7 years, he has been building up a design system culture in the bank, continuously driving design system adoption across products, markets, brands and platforms. He puts product thinking at the core of design system operation, believing that a design system can only thrive when working closely with its users.

Senior Product Designer, OKX

Eddie leads the OKDS Studio within the OKX Design System team, driving scalable design solutions across a global team of 150+ designers in APAC and the US. With over eight years of diverse experience across regions, industries, and design roles, he focuses on building robust foundations that consistently enhance cohesive product quality. Eddie blends hands-on design practice with strategic thinking to position design systems as both a product and a service, delivering measurable value from internal teams to end users.

In this 1-hour session, Theo and Eddie will share insights on building scalable and versatile design systems for financial institutions with multiple sub-brands, followed by a live Q&A.
