The Cincinnati chapter of Friends of Figma will hold its inaugural event, a happy hour at Somerset in OTR, on Thursday, April 7th from 5-8pm. Open to anyone in the creative community, even if you aren’t using Figma in your day-to-day.
To kick off the formation of Cincinnati’s Friends of Figma chapter, we’re hosting a happy hour at Somerset in OTR on Thursday, April 7th from 5-8pm. This event is open to anyone in the community who’s interested in learning more about Figma or just wants to meet other designers, artists, and creatives in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
Our first event is an informal happy hour at Somerset, all are welcome. No presentations, pitches, or marketing opportunities. Just drinks, discussion, and networking.
We’ll be in the Lounge, a cozy room with a fireplace and lots of books. We’ll have our own bartending staff ready to pour you a beverage or make you a delicious cocktail. Drinks are on you this time around, but we’ll be raffling off a few promo codes for free/discounted Figma swag at The Figma Store.
We've partnered with our friends at POAP to offer attendees a free NFT (no gas fees!) commemorating our first Friends of Figma event. Don't have a crypto wallet? No problem. Claim your NFT with an email address and set one up later.
Somerset is an oasis in the heart of OTR. They offer $2 off all cocktails, spirits, draft beers and wine pours from 5-7pm, and free parking is available at the Rothenburg school lot at 1622 Main Street, a quick 2 minute walk. Check out the venue at somersetotr.com.
