Figma Variables are helpful for keeping track of changes. By creating a variable for a particular element, you can easily update the value and have all associated elements automatically updated. This makes it much easier to adjust your designs without changing each element manually. Furthermore, you can even set up custom functions to automate specific changes with Figma Variables. For example, you could create a function that automatically scales an element when its width or height is adjusted.
