About Miggi 
Miguel “Miggi" Cardona is a Designer Advocate for Education at Figma where he works on the Figma for Education program, product marketing launches, events, and community initiatives. He was previously a Professor in the New Media Design and Visual Communications programs at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and the lead designer of imgix, a Ycombinator backed startup based in San Francisco. Miguel has 20 years experience in teaching, designing interactions, web development, illustration as well as physical and digital product design. He lives in Rochester, NY USA and collaborates on an anthropological zine series with his partner.

About Sélim
Sélim has been building products for the past 10 years. He previously co-founded RosieReality, a company focused on developing foundational AR technologies and AR entertainment. After an acquisition, he later co-founded Bento.me - a company focused on developing the most beautiful personal page for creatives.

Making little big GIFs | Miguel “Miggi" Cardona

Miggi will be sharing a bit about working on his process for working on the Little Big Updates Figma campaigns which include a collection of animated GIF flythroughs of the product features. He will discuss the process of telling a story and demonstrating interactions as story telling and education. These processes can be applied to showing off prototype work. He will be discussing his use of Figma, FigJam, After Effects, and his favorite GIF encoder, gif.ski.
