Learn strategic design practices to create positive change.
As designers, we constantly make decisions about what and how we design and who we involve. Those decisions cause ripples that can negatively affect ecosystems and future generations.
UX@UA is excited to invite two Australian-based authors, Martin Tomitsch and Steve Baty, to speak at this event. They will share the journey that led to their new book, Designing Tomorrow, and offer strategic design tactics to drive positive change and influence company strategies, global trends, and academic research.
Designing Tomorrow is packed with practical tools and strategies to create positive change. Whether you work for a startup, agency, or large organization, you'll learn how to embrace planetary perspectives and think long-term, even in a profit-driven world.
Speakers:
- Martin Tomitsch: Design academic and professor at the Transdisciplinary School at the University of Technology Sydney.
- Steve Baty: Strategic designer, co-founder of Meld Studios and UX Australia, and CEO of the Australian Design Council.
