We're super excited to kick off Friends of Figma Salzburg 🎉 We're Bharat and Jan, and we aim to create a community of like-minded people coming together to discuss all things Figma, product design as well as design systems and many other topics that will emerge over the next couple of meetups.

This is our first meetup, and as such it's more of a get-together to meet everyone. There will be a main talk about "Automations, Plugins and AI with Figma" as well as either a few impromptu lightning talks - or just an open discussion, if you have an idea or want to give a short talk, let us know!

Thanks to COWORKING SALZBURG we can host our first meetup in an inviting and friendly venue that's made for creatives and makers! You can find COWORKING SALZBURG in Techno Z in Itzling (parking space available nearby) at Jakob-Haringer-Strasse 3, 5020 Salzburg. You can get there by bus line 6, stop Jakob Haringer Strasse, or bus line 3, stop HTL Itzling. If you're in need of a creative space to work from, you'll find plenty of inspiration there.

We'll open doors at 7pm and will start the event at 7.30pm with introductions, followed by a main talk about "Automations, Plugins and AI with Figma" as well as either a discussion round or some lightning talks. If you'd like to attend, we ask you to sign-up so that we know how many people to plan with.

Our goal with Friends of Figma is to create a local community where designers can share knowledge, insights, and grow together. By bringing together a diverse group of creatives, we aim to build a supportive network that enriches our collective expertise and passion for design. The community is led by Bharat, a designer at Axess, and Jan Six, a staff product designer at GitHub. Both of us are passionate about design and committed to building a strong, connected community around Figma in Salzburg.
