Let's chat about being a Designer across generations of trends and technologies, but first some context. In July, we opened the Call for Speakers for Layers Portugal, and despite dozens of amazing applications, not all made it to the stage. Those voices are why we created the Layers Meetups. From September to December, we will have several meetups where all the incredible talks that didn’t make it to Layers will have their own space.

November 20 it's time for our second meetup, now taking Layers to the beautiful student city of Coimbra where we'll talk about a lifetime of being a designer. 

Join us and Karl Smyth to talk all about what it is like to be a designer for 25+ years and how you deal with the constant changes in technologies, and expectations of what it means to design. A real insight into the past, present and eventually future of our role as designers.

The talk will be followed by a quick chat and Q&A with the audience about the future of design as a job, and what we can expect the job market to shift into, moderated by our very own Bruno Figueiredo.
