Though tools don't make the designer, we all know that continued learning is required for a successful career in this field.
I have reserved a large community room in the new Holgate Library for us to gather as designers and play around with Figma's new features.
The general itinerary for this "co-learning" session is as follows:
5 minute presentation to summarize Figma's new features and what they can be used for.
5-10 minutes for introductions around the room 👋.
45 minutes for co-learning! I will have light music playing in the background, otherwise this time is meant to be relatively quiet as we work alongside each other. Please bring headphones if you plan on watching instructional videos 🙏.
10-20 minutes for folks to share what they built and/or learned 💛.
