This #FigmaFriday we’re gathering Filipino Figma Friends to talk about Variants! No— we don’t mean /that/ variant— we’re talking about Designer Variants! Designers who work in startups, in corporate, in agencies, and as freelancers. We’ll gather ‘round and have a chill conversation on what it’s like to work in their work setting and talk about the day-to-day design processes, the ups and downs, and—of course— how Figma comes into play!

Richard is a community builder and designer currently working at a San Francisco-based startup called Makisu, where he leads the UI and UX design for all of their products. In the past, he has done design work for edtech and AI startups.

Stella Pangilinan

UX Designer, Summit Media

(Corporate Designer)

Stella is a designer by trade and storyteller at heart. She is currently a UX Designer at Summit Media and a fellow at UXPH, areas where she advocates her passions in building design cultures and community. If she's not fixing her portfolio, she's either reading or playing tennis!

Monica Soliman

UX Design Director, Dentsu

Monica Soliman is a UX Design Director at Dentsu Jayme Syfu with a background in advertising that spans over 8 years. She leads the design direction for digital products and creative innovations to deliver an end-to-end user experience for brands such as Meralco, Smart, Ajinomoto, and Maxicare.
