Friends of Figma Lahore, with the wonderful support of Daftarkhwan and The Linkers Group are hosting a casual, helpful workshop called “Taxes Made Simple: A Practical Guide for Freelancers & Startup Owners.” It’s all about making tax filing feel a bit less scary and a lot more doable.

We know taxes can feel complicated, especially when you're busy building something. That’s why we made this workshop short, sweet, and easy to follow. We'll walk you through:

• Getting your NTN and setting up your FBR IRIS account

• Figuring out what counts as income, which expenses you can actually deduct (think internet bills, software, home office usage), and whether you need to register for sales tax

• Paying advance tax, filing your return, and staying on the Active Taxpayer List so you're never caught off-guard
