‘Design Ops’, which means Design Operations, refers to all the processes, methodologies, and tools that design teams adopt to achieve continuous success in their work.

Design has come a long way - more companies are now aware of its importance and are hiring more designers to help deliver that value and a high-end user experience needed to scale companies or teams.

Design Ops refers to all of the processes, methodologies, and tools that design teams adopt to achieve continuous success in their work. With more companies readily investing in their design teams, providing value for teams goes beyond equipping them with both digital and physical work tools.

This session will feature top designers from different companies in the ecosystem who will share a practical understanding of Design Ops by discussing how they are set up, team culture, and the methodologies adopted to optimize for growth.

A brief intro about the Moderator

Namnso Ukpanah is a Product Designer from Lagos, Nigeria. He works at Flutterwave as a Lead Product Designer. He coordinates the Friends of Figma chapters in Africa, which are design communities focused on Design Education across the continent. He is also the co-founder of Kimoyo, a design fellowship program aimed at raising the next generation of African designers.

A brief intro about the Guest - Chukwuka Ezeoke

Chukwuka Ezeoke is a Product Designer based in Lagos, Nigeria. He works as a Senior Product Designer at Paxful and a Product Designer at Sterling Bank. He also leads design and operations efforts as well as being a co-founder at Spirē — a startup helping businesses build better products by enhancing the voice of customers through insights and feedback. In his spare time, he thinks about the community, reads, craves cinema popcorn and sleeps late.

A brief intro about the Guest - Chris Adolph

Chris Adolphus is a product designer residing in Lagos, Nigeria. He currently leads the design team at Chaka while also mentoring designers globally on ADPList.
