User experience (UX) focuses on having a deep understanding of your users, what they need, what they value, their abilities, and also their limitations. Sadly, designers tend to overlook the importance of this and only focus on crafting a perfect visual side alone. Although, UX is a growing field that is very much still being defined. We will do our best to talk along the lines of what User Experience is, factors affecting UX, and why every designer must not sideline the UX process when working on a project.

We will be having Michael Ajah facilitate this session. Michael is a product designer and developer with over 2 years of experience crafting out digital experiences for companies and building tools that help companies and brands scale faster. He is also currently building VentlyHQ an event start up with two (2) co-founders. He is someone that strongly implements UX to his design as seen in some of his works here.
