Last time, we couldn't visit Vitra Design Museum (https://www.design-museum.de/) due to the Deutsche Bahn cancellation, but we've now booked the "Paper Lampshades Workshop" at Vitra Design Museum in October! This time, we'll arrive the night before and have a good rest before the workshop. (You can also join us directly at the workshop if you can manage it.) About the workshop:

Many folded structures in architecture and design are inspired by traditional paperfolding arts. Following a brief introduction to the topic, we will practise various folding techniques and discuss design possibilities. Even simple folded elements can be creatively combined in very different ways to form lampshades. Starting with the same initial scenario, participants will experiment with these variations on their own or in small groups and come up with individual results.

Duration: 2-3 hours

Price: € 43.00 per person (minimum fee per group € 430.00)
