This is the inaugural meeting of a quarterly Meetup devoted to all things Figma. As it's our first meeting, we're planning to cover the basics of Figma for interested newcomers and touch on best practices for power users. The goal is to offer a little something for everyone willing to carve two hours out of their Wednesday evening.

The plan is to provide a walking tour of Figma, Starting with the basics—getting set up, taking what you know from Sketch or Adobe XD—and proceed through a wide variety of topics, such as components and prototypes, overlays and version history, libraries and the much-vaunted API. This Meetup is more workshop than lecture: there's a bit of presentation, but the whole idea of meeting is to build a professional community through lively discussion.

Come to meet fellow Figma enthusiasts and curious designers. Stay for the networking and Figma swag sent straight from HQ in San Francisco.

*Note: the event is located on the second story of a building in RiNo first erected as a grocery store in the 1880s. The only way up, alas, is via a staircase.
