We are going to introduce some more networking activities before the presentation to get the conversation rolling, and we will have a microphone!

7:45 - 8:00: Q&A and more networking!

This will be Figma - Austin's second meet up, "An Introduction to Figma Basics" (Part Two). For this meetup, we'll have more time at the beginning for people to arrive at the venue. We will also have time for people to pull out projects and ask Figma questions, or even for beginners to get someone on one time with us for Figma tips. We will then have a presentation from Chris Carter, a senior UX designer at Home Depot. He'll walk us through his Figma setup, and share some practical tips on design systems, collaboration, and some of the coolest features of Figma. Maybe he will even give us an insight into how he believes Figma will be the next design tool for Home Depot and their large design teams.

This event is for you if you're an active Figma user already, or if you're still using Sketch, XD, Framer X, etc., but interested in learning more. 😉 It's the perfect opportunity to meet other designers, developers, product managers, and more using Figma to share tips, best practices, learn, share, and grow while eating and drinking refreshments sponsored by Figma. Find out why large companies like Microsoft, Uber, Square, and more have made the switch entirely to Figma.

We'll have more pizza and beverages this time around and Figma swag to share, so come join us! (Home Depot is an alcohol-free campus so we won't have any alcoholic drinks for this event.)
