Calling all ghouls, goblins, and UXers! Join us for an eerie-sistible evening of creativity and collaboration at our Halloween-themed Figma Make-a-thon!

🔮 What’s a Halloween Make-a-thon?

Think a mini-hackathon, but with fewer bugs and more pumpkins. You’ll use Figma Make (an AI-powered design tool) to spin a set of surprise prompts and create something unexpected, clever, or just plain weird — no coding required!

🕸️ What to expect:

• A quick intro to Figma Make — so no worries if you’re new!

• Teams racing the clock to design something fun, freaky, or fabulous

• Prizes for categories like “Most Creative,” “Funniest,” and “Most Likely to Open a Portal to a Different Dimension (jk... maybe)”

• Group sharing, snacks, good vibes, and community feels ✨

Come for the design tools, stay for the laughter, learning, and low-pressure creative chaos. Costumes are optional, but strongly encouraged. Bonus points for anyone who can design and haunt.

Instructions on how to get to the venue (InceptionU):

The workshop will take place at InceptionU, located inside the Calgary Central Library (800 3 St SE, Calgary). Once inside, head to the 3rd floor, Room 3.

The library is easily accessible by CTrain (City Hall Station) and features bike racks, as well as nearby parking options.
