Since we can’t meet up in person, let’s get together inside Figma for an online happy hour!
This first event is an opportunity to introduce ourselves, network, and, obviously, talk a little about Figma, starting from the basics. The event is open to anyone interested in learning more about Figma; advanced professionals, aspiring designers and developers, and creatives of all kinds.
Why Bujrum. Figma?
When you come to Bosnia you’ll probably find that your ear slowly becomes attuned to the Bosnian around you. That’s when you’ll start to hear the same keywords and phrases everywhere you go.
Sometimes you’ll even hear the same word in a variety of different situations.
1. Bujrum
You’ll hear the word Bujrum everywhere you go in Bosnia, in shops, restaurants, and markets in particular. There is no direct English equivalent. Instead, Bujrum acts as an all-purpose word to prompt you – meaning welcome, please come in, sit down, there you are, how can I help you or would you like anything else, depending on the context in which it is used.
Join a Bevy room and a shared Figma file where we’ve prepared some activities. Let’s get creative! The results will become part of a digital FOF_Bosnia art “gallery” that we can view together and share online.
