Hello everyone! I am a beginner UX designer who is having 0 luck getting any kind of interaction from recruiters outside of rejections. I have real projects under my belt, a pretty good beginner portfolio, and a bachelors, but it doesn't seem to be making a difference. So I think I must be doing something wrong. I have heard that a lot of UX designers usually get hired from other fields such as graphic design or project management, but I haven't been able to have any success applying for those kinds of jobs either.
So my questions are these; What kind of jobs should I be applying to? Where can I find them? Does my portfolio/resume not communicate my skills adequately? I feel like I don't know what to do. Internships seem so rare and I really don't know how to get my foot in the door otherwise.
