Welcome to Friends of Figma Gothenburg!

We’re Gothenburg’s official Friends of Figma community — a place for designers, developers, creatives, students, and curious minds to meet, learn, experiment, and build together.

Our community is centered around hands-on learning and real conversations about how design is changing. Through meetups, workshops, collaborative sessions, talks, and design jams, we explore Figma, product design, AI, prototyping, design systems, creative technology, and the workflows shaping our everyday work.

You don’t need to be a Figma expert to join. Whether you’re opening Figma for the first time, working professionally in design and development, or simply interested in how ideas become digital products, you’re welcome here.

Expect a mix of:

• Hands-on sessions — experiment with Figma features, AI tools, prototyping, and collaborative workflows.

• Talks & knowledge sharing — practical experiences from designers, developers, teams, and local companies.

• Design jams & collaboration — make things together rather than only talking about them.

• Community & networking — meet people from Gothenburg’s design and tech scene in a relaxed environment.

• Experiments with what’s next — explore new tools, workflows, ideas, and emerging creative technology.

Our goal is simple: create a welcoming local space where people can share what they know, learn something new, and leave inspired to make something.

Friends of Figma chapters are designed to connect people through geography or shared interests, and Figma explicitly positions leaders as facilitators who help community members connect and learn from each other. That makes this version more aligned with the official community framing than positioning the group purely as a Figma training or networking organization.
