It's Finally Happening

For the first time ever, Sydney is hosting an official CONFIG Watch Party and we're making it count.

And we're making it even bigger. 25 June also marks three years of Friends of Figma Sydney, and we're using the night to officially launch our new brand. One evening, three celebrations.

Join Sydney's design and product community as we come together to watch Figma's annual flagship conference together. Whether you're a designer, developer, product manager, or just Figma curious, this is your invitation to be part of a global moment, right here at home.

Watching Together, Sydney Time

CONFIG 2026 takes place in San Francisco, which means the live keynote streams in the early hours of the morning for us here in Sydney. Rather than set your alarm for 3am, we're doing it the right way: gathering after work hours to watch the keynote stream together, with the full energy of a watch party and none of the sleep deprivation.

Same announcements. Same excitement. Better timezone.

What to Expect

• Keynote Screening — We'll screen Dylan Field's Config 2026 opening keynote at a time that actually works for Sydney. Come straight from the office.
• FoF Sydney 3rd Birthday and Brand Launch — Three years in, and we're celebrating with a brand new look for the community. You'll see it first on the night.
• Community and Networking — Meet the designers and builders shaping Sydney's product scene. Make the connections that actually stick.
• Food and Drinks — We've got you covered.

About CONFIG

CONFIG is Figma's annual conference for designers, developers, and product builders, the event where the future of design gets announced. Previous Configs have launched some of the most significant updates in the product design world, drawing thousands in person in San Francisco and hundreds of thousands watching globally.

In 2026, Config runs June 24 to 26 in San Francisco. Sydney will be watching.

Watch parties have been happening across the globe for years in Berlin, Tokyo, Paris, New York, Toronto, Pune, and Lagos. Now it's Sydney's turn. And this isn't just any community meetup — this is the first ever official Friends of Figma Config Watch Party held in Australia.

• We'll be placing you on a waitlist before approving registrations based on capacity. 
• Please arrive on time. After 6pm, there may be no one at door to let you in.
• Be ready to present your ID and ticket at the entrance, as attendee identities will be verified against their tickets.
• If you can’t attend, please cancel your spot as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event will not be valid.
