Friends of Figma Singapore is excited to be hosting our first meetup for 2026 and we're starting the year by talking about… starting.

We've gathered a fun group of speakers who've started something recently – a project, an experiment, a labour of love – to hear their thoughts about what it means to start something new. What were the challenges? What was unexpected? Why even start and how does one get over the initial doubts?

We'll have them talk a bit about their projects, and then sit down with them to chat a little about the ups and downs on getting started.

If you’ve been sitting on an idea, or if you’ve wanted to dive in to something new, or if you just want to be around people who are quietly building things they care about – this one’s for you.
