Are you new to Figma? Or just looking for new Figma tips and tricks? Join Friends of Figma students from the ArtCenter College of Design, University of Washington, University of Waterloo, San Jose State University & RIT for a 1.5-hour, hands-on workshop with Miggi Cardona, Figma's Education Designer Advocate, to better understand how to use Figma’s collaborative space for any creative project you can imagine. We'll cover a variety of concepts such as Figma basics, wire-framing, prototyping, interaction design, animation, and more.
And a bit about Miggi: Miguel Cardona, Designer Advocate & Educator
Miguel “Miggi" Cardona is a Designer Advocate for Education at Figma. He was previously an Assistant Professor for the New Media Design BFA and Visual Communications MFA programs at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and the lead designer of imgix, a responsive image API startup in San Francisco. Miguel has 18 years experience in teaching, designing interactions, web development, and product design. He lives in Rochester, NY and collaborates on an anthropological print zine series on race and space with his partner.
