Episode two of Friends of Figma Riga. In the pilot we met the people who design in this city. This time we ask who wants to help build the chapter, and how.

A chapter runs on a few people who give it an hour or two a month. Some speak at events, some find a venue, some design the posters, some welcome guests at the door. We go through the roles, you pick what fits, and together we sketch Hello Riga!, our first in-person meetup at Minox in November.

• 18:00 Previously on FoF Riga. What we learned in the pilot.

• 18:10 The crew. The roles a chapter needs, from speaking to check-in.

• 18:20 Writers' room. Format, topic and speakers for Hello Riga!

• 18:45 Next episode. Who takes what, and what happens before November.

You don't need to commit on the day. Come and see what fits you.

The meetup is free and runs online in English. Your registration answers go to the FoF Riga organizer, not to Figma.

We record the session and share it with the chapter afterwards. If you show your work, tell us if you'd rather stay out of the recording.
