Designing Beyond Bias

Rosa is a Product Designer in the Brand and Experience team at Bankwest. Her work sits at the intersection of UX, behavioural psychology and security, focusing on how customers think, feel and act during high-stress moments such as credential theft and scam alerts.

In this session, Rosa explores how cognitive biases influence behaviour and trust in digital products, particularly when users are under pressure. She will unpack how ethical and inclusive design helps us move beyond assumptions and design for real human behaviour, not idealised journeys.

Alice Forward - Creative Design Leader

A Service Design Guide to Survival - Stories from the Trenches and What They Taught Me

Alice is a strategic and creative design leader specialising in service design and experience strategy, with over 20 years of experience across the UK and Australia. She focuses on delivering well-designed services that empower both users and operational teams, driven by a belief that impactful design can change the world for the better.

In this candid and practical session, Alice shares stories from the trenches of service design. Expect grounded insights into navigating complexity, aligning stakeholders, and designing services that survive contact with the real world.
