You may have heard this familiar story, the design team works tirelessly to solve big challenges and design optimal solutions for users while the development team ends up watering them down while tearing out the souls of their design counterparts :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing:. This is one side of an ongoing narrative that continues to significantly impact the potential for what teams can achieve together. But what if instead of feeding into this narrative you could champion change in how design and development teams can better work together, be more inclusive, and work on ways to communicate and collaborate better along the way.

This meet-up will focus on tearing down misconceptions and build on how teams come together to achieve amazing results while fostering a culture of collaboration. We will hear stories and tips from designers and developers on how they've been able to improve their workflows as we also engage with you, on what challenges you might be facing to fuel a panel discussion.
