Designathon - Rangrez 2026 is a 24-hour design sprint where participants conceptualise a user interface or digital experience inspired by 90’s Indian cinema. The challenge encourages teams to mix nostalgia with usability; designing apps, websites, or interfaces that fuse maximalist design with modern UX logic. Please note the following details -

Eligibility: Open to all individuals under the age of 25 with a valid student ID from a recognised institution.

Rules:

1. Team Structure can consist of 1–3 members. It will be hosted online.

2. The Theme: Create a digital product (Application/Website) fusing 90s Indian cinema (Retro Maximalism) with modern User Experience (UX).

3. Deliverables: A case study including research, user flows, wireframes, and an interactive prototype (Figma, Notion).

4. AI Rules: AI tools are allowed for assets, but usage of AI UI is banned.

5. Logistics: You have 24 hours to finish; work must be 100% original and must not be available in any open-source UI template libraries.

6. Judging: Scoring focuses on Thematic Execution (30%), UX Integrity (30%), Originality (20%), Storytelling (10%), and AI Integration (10%).
