Prompt Lab focuses on the fundamentals of working creatively with AI in design, starting with how prompts are structured and how that changes the quality, direction, and usefulness of the output. It covers creative resources, approaches to ideation and visual development, and ways to bring AI into different parts of the design workflow without making the process scattered or dependent on trial and error.

The session also introduces ways to organise and systemise AI-assisted work, making it easier to build on ideas, iterate with intention, and move from experimentation towards actual making. This creates the foundation for the more hands-on make-a-thon sessions ahead, where participants can apply these methods while building.
