The best of any creative Zine project is the community and collaboration around it.

So why not subvert new digital tools and make your very own modern version of a Zine?

This workshop is about using and abusing new tools like Figma to make them our own tools for communication, using patterns like components, expressive tools like plugins and shaders, and productivity tool like real-time collaboration to make creative editorial and illustration projects. We'll use tools like Figma Design, Figma Draw, Figma Make, AI features and plugins not as a means to an end, but as raw material. As a medium.

Our end goal: For 2 hours collaboratively create a Zine during workshop. Built together digitally, and leave with it ready to share with the world both in physical and digital format.

We only ask you one thing: bring a story, a quote, an illustration or an article you'd like to compose and print.

We'll then gather all of the work and print it as the Figment Zine by the end of the workshop.

Think less "following a process", more "hijacking it".

Come with curiosity. Leave with something you didn't expect to make.
