We’re committed to connecting and growing the local Figma scene by
hosting both in-person and online events where you can 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯, 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦, and 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘵 around all things Figma.

If you’ve ever been curious about learning Figma, want to bring a website idea to life but not sure where to start, or you’re a BA/PO looking to collaborate more effectively with designers, this workshop is for you🫵

Hosted at the Media Design School at Strayer campus, this 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻-𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 will guide you through tackling a problem together and exploring a design solution by using the Figma suite.

This session is great for:

• Complete beginners to Figma

• Founders and PMs exploring early ideas

• Engineers who want clearer concepts and planning before building

• Anyone curious about design but not sure where to start

What you’ll need:

• A laptop

• A free Figma account (we’ll show you how if you don’t have one)

No design experience required. No pressure to be “creative.” Questions are welcome.

Outcome:
You’ll leave knowing your way around Figma and with a prototype you can build on immediately.
